Narasimha Jayanti celebrates the birth of Lord Narasimha, the fourth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. He is depicted as half-human and half-lion, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil. Narasimha came to earth to slay Hiranyakashipu. It is believed that by worshiping Lord Narasimha on this day, all our troubles go away.
